iCleanse Expands Its Board of Directors, Adding Cliff Marks, Long Time Sports and Entertainment Media Executive
Marks’ executive experience in the advertising, marketing and sales industries spans three decades, with Media Week Magazine naming him one of the most influential people in media on several occasions. He will lend his deep expertise to the iCleanse board, joining its team of business, disinfection and digital out of home media experts who support the organization’s continued national expansion.
AVON, CONN. (PRWEB) JANUARY 17, 2023 — iCleanse, the leading device disinfection and Digital Out of Home (DOOH) media company, announced today the appointment of Cliff Marks to its Board of Directors. He also serves as a Board Member for Martha Stewart Kitchen, is on the Board of FolksMedia Inc, and is Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation.
“I’m pleased to be joining the Board as iCleanse continues to set the standard for innovation by greatly improving media strategies for companies and organizations,” said Marks. “Its Swift UV phone disinfection and premium ad display is an incredibly timely and sustainable new way to engage customers one-to-one. With iCleanse products currently in more than 100 hospitals and retail locations across the country, it’s a proven DOOH solution that more national brands will be adopting in 2023. I look forward to collaborating with my fellow board members to achieve this goal.”
With more than 35 years of executive experience in the advertising, marketing and sales industries, Marks brings immense knowledge to iCleanse with his unparalleled media industry expertise specifically in sales and revenue strategies. He was previously President at National CineMedia (NCM), the country’s largest and most innovative movie theater network, where he led the company’s revenue, affiliate partnerships, marketing and public relations. Notably, Marks was the visionary behind the creation and evolution of NCM’s ground-breaking movie pre-show, FirstLook – the first to combine entertainment content and advertising – transforming cinema into a key premium video option in today’s fragmented media landscape. Before joining NCM, he was a 14-year veteran of ESPN/ABC Sports, serving as senior vice president and overseeing its $2.0 billion sales organization. He began his media sales career as an account executive at The Nashville Network (TNN), and his advertising career began in the media departments at Young & Rubicam and BBDO. He is presently CEO of CMarksCo, LLC, a strategic media and marketing company.
Chris Allen, CEO of iCleanse, said of the appointment: “The Board and I are excited to welcome Cliff to iCleanse. He is a highly respected leader in the media industry with a proven track record. His wealth of experience and insights will prove invaluable to iCleanse as we innovate, rapidly accelerate growth, and continue to be a disruptor in the device disinfection and DOOH space.”
